Being a sworn member of the lazy girl beauty club, if anything is easy or effortless beauty-wise, then I’m all for it. Maybe it’s because I already take too long choosing an outfit in the morning so there’s never really time left to do my hair and makeup. Or maybe it’s just easier to not commit any beauty mistakes that way. So, low maintenance has always been the magic word for me. I just don’t do anything loud or complicated for my hair and makeup. That’s why I was honestly so excited when I was contacted by L’Oreal to be one of the first to try their newest hair color line, Majirel French Browns. The whole line is just very wearable, subtle, and elegant.

I tried on the shade 5.041. It’s a very beautiful copper brown cooled down by a touch of ash. I also got a little bit of babylights put in so it reflects nicely when there’s a bit of texture in my hair. Definitely asking for this line again when I get my hair colored next time!

The night after, I attended the L’Oreal Majirel French Browns hair and fashion show in Shangril-La Hotel. It was such a grand event with a live hair cutting and styling by world-renowned hairstylist, Berni Ottjes and a fashion show by Francis Libiran.

It was so interesting and inspiring to see all the different French cuts and colors being done on the spot!
