Japan: Mt Fuji, Hakone, Ueno Park, & Ramen Museum
I recently realized that we are about to go to Japan again and I haven’t finished blogging about last year’s Japan trip! Haha! So this is me attempting to finish my Japan travel post in time!
For day 6 of our trip, we joined a tour to go see Mt. Fuji!
We did not expect at all that there would still be snow during this time, so imagine how happy I was when I saw all the snow! Naturally, the first thing that popped into my head was: MUST HAVE MY OOTD TAKEN!
Super cute Mt. Fuji chocolates!
We then went on a sightseeing cruise on Lake Ashi from Kojiri to Hakone-en!
The beautiful view while on the way up to the Hakone Shrine Mototsumiya!
The Hakone Shrine Mototsumiya on the the summit of Komagatake, one of Mount Hakone’s multiple peaks!
Ippudo Ramen to cap off the night!
For our 6th day, we decided to go visit the National Museum of Science and Nature mainly to see Hachiko’s remains. If you don’t know Hachiko, I highly recommend you to watch the movie especially if you’re a dog-lover!
Hachiko’s stuffed remains! So sad. :((
Next, we walked around Ueno Park a bit. Ueno Park is famous for having many museums and shrines inside! We weren’t able to check out the whole place though! Hope we can go back soon and really explore everything!
A statue of Saigō Takamori, the last samurai, walking his dog.
Ended the day with a little shopping at a shopping district!
We went to the Shinyokohama Ramen Museum for our 7th day there! It’s basically like an amusement park for ramen!
Inside, there is a whole village of the top ramen restaurants all in one place! If you’re planning on visiting this place, you should definitely visit it for the novelty and the experience!
Yep, that’s actually a ramen vendo machine!
Vintage Japan! Love their attention to details! Check out that sock! haha!
Oishi! heart 'Til my next post!
