Japan 3: Tokyo DisneySea!
It’s spring in DisneySea. Pretty foliage is everywhere. The Disney baby in me is so, so very happy.
A warning: This is going to be a long-ass post since everything was just so beautiful and magical that I couldn’t bear eliminating some photos. I just wanted it to seem like i’m taking you guys along with me so, buckle up!
It’s Marie! So cute and fluffy!
Check out this banner that is actually made up of flowers! So pretty!
All around the park, there were popcorn carts with different flavors each, scattered around! They had soda, milk tea, strawberry, pepper, etc.!
Just look at that view!
Scrooge McDuck’s department store! How cute!
The buildings have a very New York kinda vibe, don’t you think?
It’s Duffy, the Disney bear! He’s Mickey Mouse’s bear. Apparently, Duffy is very popular in Japan and almost everyone in DisneySea was carrying it around! Even the adults!
I just love how this section is designed! Look at that huge Woody head!
My favorite part in the whole park! Ariel’s castle! It looks so amazing and pretty!
I love how it really does feel like you’re underwater with the way the light and decor is set-up!
How cool is this? That whale’s eye even moves! You can really see the Japanese’s eye for detail in here.
The shoppe is inside the whale!
I love the chairs! Super cute and mermaid-y!
When the characters visit Triton’s Kingdom, they come wearing swimming gear! Haha! So amusing that they think of these little things!
Only seafood under water of course! Look at that clam burger!
Goofy and Pluto in their swimming gear!
The Tower of Terror! My favorite ride in the whole park! This ride is like an extremely fast elevator that opens and closes in random floors. The first time it went up, it went all the way to the top floor then the doors opened, revealing how high up in the air you were, just seconds before it drops! The picture just doesn’t give justice to how tall it actually is!
Cruella De Vil! This woman was so funny! She was scowling the whole time and even said, “I don’t see any dalmatians here. I guess that cat over there will have to do.” (Referring to Marie) Haha!
Pretty roses on the fire escape!
This duck was so cute. It came out of hiding and waddled all the way up to us when it saw that we had food!
How adorable are these flower pots?
Aww, Genie. sad
Ariel’s castle looks even more amazing and magical at night! It looks like it was sprinkled with pixie dust! Doesn’t this just bring out the inner kid in you?
A gorgeous light show featuring Mickey and friends trying to defeat Maleficent
This is one of the most fun attractions! The wait was crazy long, but it was definitely worth it! I love all the details they put into the waiting area. It really does make you feel like you’ve shrunk and gone to Toy Story land! Check out the photos of the waiting area below!
It’s kind of like a 4D version of the Astro Blasters in HK Disneyland, but 10 times more fun! It’s so interactive and cool with all the crazy effects and pops when you shoot at something! You definitely have to try this ride if you’re going there soon!
I loved, loved Tokyo Disneyland and want to go back soon! Even if you’re not exactly a kid anymore, I think you’d enjoy this one! heart
