Mario Badescu Skincare Faves

Mario Badescu has always been one of my skincare go-tos ever since I was introduced to the cult favorite drying lotion by a friend a few years ago. So, I was really excited when Rustan’s sent me a bunch of their Mario Badescu products to try out.

Drying Lotion

First up, the drying lotion—my HG product for when I want to kill a zit overnight. I always repurchase this when I run out of it. If you’re looking for a new pimple ointment, definitely give this a go. Just make sure to only put this on the zit and not the skin surrounding it because it really dries it out.

Facial Spray With Aloe Herbs and Rosewater

Another one of their bestselling products—the rosewater spray. A facial spray is the kinda product you’d never think you’d need in your life unless you’ve tried it. I use this as a mid-day skin pick-me-upper and as a setting spray too. Great for tropical weather. Also, it smells really good!

Botanical Exfoliating Scrub

Haven’t gotten to properly road test this for an extended period yet, but my initial thoughts are that it feels really nice and doesn’t make my combination skin feel super dried out after.

A.H.A. Botanical Soap

I would repurchase this just for the heavenly scent it leaves after using! My skin also feels really moisturized after and never dry when I use this. It also has AHA which helps exfoliate your skin and supposedly helps with acne on the chest and the back too!

Enzyme Cleansing Gel

It took some getting used to with this facial wash since it doesn’t foam, but this is a good one for sensitive skin and also doesn’t dry me out!
