Japan 1&2: Harajuku + Shibuya
This is a long overdue post, blah blah. You know how it goes. Haha! Anyway, we went to Japan for 2 weeks last April. It is by far one of the best trips I’ve had. The culture, the fashion, the food, everything! I love, love Japan!
For the first day, we just got settled in and didn’t do much that day. So I’m starting with the second day instead! We started our day by strolling down Yoyogi Park. One of the things I love about Japan is that there are so many beautiful parks and gardens!
Cute character illustrations on the floor!
Harajuku St.! We didn’t have much time to leisurely shop that day so, I didn’t get to buy much of anything from there. Haha!
Seeing people in kimonos is very common. A lot of people wear them to special occasions and events!
Japanese people have amazing style.
Awww, the Hachiko statue outside of Shibuya station. This is the station that Hachiko waited by everyday for his owner to come back from work. If you don’t know about Hachiko, I definitely recommend watching the movie. So sad.
The famous Shibuya Crossing!
If you’re going to Shibuya, Tokyo anytime soon, I strongly recommend you to try this pizza food truck, Bakka. They serve the most mouth-wateringly delicious pizza I have ever devoured in my life. We actually didn’t know it was considered to be one of the best pizza places in Tokyo. We just luckily happened upon it. My cousin just showed us this article from CNN afterwards. Haha!
Pablo! Love, love their cheesecakes! Another must try!
Posting about Tokyo DisneySea next! Follow me on IG and twitter at @sartorialpanda.
